APSACC Fremantle 2011

The APSACC conference in Fremantle held earlier this month was an impressive gathering of anti corruption professionals. The delegates met to discuss and confront the challenges that continue to face public sector agencies in preventing, and detecting corruption. There were a large number of international visitors including representations from Thailand, Indonesia, Bhutan and Botswana. The attendance of this geographically dispersed group gives an indication of the developing global interest in preventing corruption and the role that Australia can take in this process.

WISE was exhibiting 'Governance Manager', a software tool designed to assist organisations to self asses and target resources towards a quality model of organisational integrity. To find out more about Governance manager and sign up for a free trial follow this link

Workplace Bullying  AHRC

The Australian Human Rights Commission and Reachout.com have developed factsheets for young people on bullying including useful factsheets for 'Getting Help' and for 'Supportive Bystander's' and on Workplace Bullying.

The factsheet defines workplace bullying, what it looks like, how it can effect you and draws links between bullying and the abuse of young people and discrimination.

Visit the Human Rights Commission website for the full factsheet.
