On 1 January 2014 WISE Workplace and LKA Group Pty Ltd teamed up to form a powerful new national Workplace Investigations Team.

Our combined firm now conducts its practice under the same familiar name of WISE Workplace with offices in Sydney, ACT, Melbourne, Brisbane, Hobart and Perth.



Managing Director

Vince is a lawyer and holds degrees in Law and Psychology and has more than 24 years’ experience working within and managing investigations. This depth of experience has laid the foundation for exceptional knowledge of fraud and how investigations need to respond.

Vince has conducted investigations across Australia involving complex workplace disputes and corrupt conduct he has designed and reported on service reviews and conducted risk assessments for corporations and government. Vince carries respect as a leader in the fight against fraud both nationally and internationally.



National Investigations Manager

As WISE Workplace’s National Investigations Manager, Katherine oversees operations in each State with a focus on quality, consistency and the highest ethical standards.

Katherine has significant investigation experience in all types of workplace matters including bullying and harassment complaints, whistleblower and public interest disclosures, serious misconduct, grievances and administrative reviews. Katherine also has specific expertise in complex investigations, particularly where there is a sensitivity involved such as allegations of sexual harassment or matters involving vulnerable people. She has a good understanding of the public sector framework, having conducted scores of investigations on behalf of various state and federal government departments and statutory authorities over the years, and is also responsible for our mediation, cultural reviews and restorative practice services.



National Mediation Manager

Katheirne has over 15 years’ experience in workplace mediation and restorative justice practices. A nationally accredited mediator, Katheirne manages our portfolio of workplace mediation and post investigative restorative conferences in private and public sector agencies across Australia.

Utilising her experience in Senior management roles and organisational change and development in the non-for-profit sector, Katherine provides organisations with strategic cultural development and workplace culture assessments.

Katherine is a dedicated and highly ethical practitioner, devoted to achieving the best outcomes for her clients using effective communication, best practice, and a focus on team cohesion. Katherine has a proven ability to interpret, apply and develop policies, codes, guidelines and procedures. She is skilled in building rapport with parties from diverse socio-economic and cultural groups, as well as varying levels of seniority within an organisation. Katherine is committed to conducting all matters promptly, professionally, and effectively, providing an outstanding level of service.



State Manager NSW/ACT

Keryn has 30+ years of investigation experience gained through the Australian Federal Police, United Nations (UNTAET), Victoria’s Office of Police Integrity, the Victorian Ombudsman and the Department of Defence. She has extensive experience in conducting and managing investigations related to fraud, serious misconduct, corruption, public interest disclosures and workplace misconduct matters. Keryn has led complaint, review, intelligence and Code of Conduct teams across various national and state public service agencies. She has a particular interest in assisting organisations and employees to resolve workplace issues relating to sexual harassment, discrimination, gender identity or the LGBTIQ community, sensitively and positively. Keryn holds a Bachelor of Arts, Graduate Diploma in Education, Master of Journalism and other professional qualifications in investigations, leadership and workplace training.



State Manager QLD

Lee has a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Policing (Investigations) from Charles Sturt University and has more than 25 years of experience working within and managing all aspects of investigations across the private and public sectors. Lee is a respected leader, having held senior positions in the Queensland Police Service, Queensland Crime and Corruption Commission, Department of Housing and Public Works, Queensland Rail and the Queensland University of Technology. Lee is also a Veteran, having served in the Australian Regular Army domestically and internationally.

Having significant experience in policy and governance, Lee held the position of Deputy Chairperson on a National Child Protection Committee. He was also a member of Charles Sturt Universities Academic Senate and Student Leadership.



Training & Development Manager

Eden Elliott comes from a creative and projects background, working and studying a range of fields including live events and production before joining the LKA and Wise firms in 2015. She spent the following six years building intensive experience managing a portfolio of factual investigations; location & social media inquiries; and conduct, child safety and other workplace investigations. She also handled loss adjusting and claims management across property claims, liability, plumbers warranty and local government. After a brief spell in a human resources role, Eden returned to the Group as the Training and Development Manager, now overseeing the accredited training of our Registered Training Organisation, short courses, internal learning and development, and organisational development.
